Vehicles manufacturer Missiya will launch M-22Q1 in January 2023, a next-generation drone that can carry up to 6 kilograms of payload, fly in almost any weather conditions to a distance of 30-40 kilometers, and stay in the air between 45-60 mins. The large quadcopter can reach speeds of 70kph.

360° Obstacle Scanner

To enhance in-flight safety, the mechanically spinning 360° sensor appears at the top of the drone that constantly scans the entire lateral plain of the drone. Offering an obstacle detection range of 15 m, with options to customise the drones sensing range via the M-Ground Control. Even in difficult operating environments, this 360° sensing system helps keep the drone and the mission safe.

LiDAR Altimeter

To enhance in-flight safety and add additional precision, the bottom mounted LiDAR altimeter offers an incredibly precise altitude hold capability up to 15 m. Ideal for low altitude flight missions. It lets the drone constantly follow the grounds terrain and adjust the altitude according to the terrain bellow.

Point Hold Sensor

During low altitude hover of up to 2 m, the optical flow sensor will lock on to the certain ground feature and keep the drone fixed at one point. Essential safety feature that prevents the drone from even ever so slightly drifting around close to the ground and potentially creating a hazard to its surroundings.

Smart Return to Home

In an unlikely event of complete signal loss due to various possible factors, the drone will automatically return back from where it has took off. The smart part of the feature is that if there are obstacles on the way back to the take off point, the drones smart 360° obstacles avoidance system will sense and either overfly or fly around the obstacle. Incredibly important feature especially during flight over urban areas.

During the flight, the bottom front grills let the cool outside air channel through to the battery and vent out the back section for optimal battery cooling. The optimal battery cooling results in its improved performance and thus a longer flight time.The ability to use passive cooling system resulted in a great weight saving which further improved the flight time and overall performance.

For certain electronic parts with small surface area to volume ratio that heat up during the use required an active cooling. Special light weight fans within the drones body circulate the air by forcing a constant current of cool outside air and blowing out the hot air out. This process keeps the onboard electronics cool for optimal performance.

One of the most important and perhaps most heated part of the drone is its motors. This is why we have developed our own unique way of cooling them. By positioning special air ducts bellow the motors, these air ducts guide the cool bleed air from the propeller thrust to the motors. Truly a unique system which is both incredibly light and effective at cooling the motors. The result: greatly improved performance, safety and a much longer motor life.
